Kershaw Push Button Knife Description
The USA-made Kershaw Launch 8 is offered as a push button automatic knife that mirrors the sleek, symmetrical lines which stilettos are popular for. In fact, it was inspired by the look of classic Italian stilettos, but its design is modernized – rather than traditional – for a new generation.
Weighing in at just 2.3 oz., this knife with button is lightweight and therefore easy to carry. It comes ready for action with a 3.5-inch spear point blade made of the premium-quality CPM 154 stainless steel; this slim yet tough blade is sharpened on one side, has a deep top grind to lighten weight and add the stiletto style, and wears a stonewashed finish.
As a button open knife, the Launch 8 also comes with a push-button on the handle which smoothly and swiftly deploys the blade when depressed, and the low profile of this button reduces the chances of accidental blade deployment to a minimum. While it is open, the Kershaw Launch 8 blade is securely held in place, thanks to the featured push-button lock.
The handle is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, wears a gray anodized finish, and sports a handsome-looking carbon fiber insert which covers the pivot sunk deep into it. 4.75 inches long, this push button knife handle offers ample grip space, and the integrated finger guards on its top and bottom are there to keep your fingers away from danger during use.
For convenient carry all day long, a reversible pocket clip (right/left, tip-up) of black steel construction rounds out the Launch 8 Kershaw knife.

Kershaw Stiletto Additional Information
Blade
The blade of this Kershaw Launch 8 is excellent because the material – CPM 154 stainless steel – used in its construction is a powdered metallurgy steel which boasts a more uniform distribution of carbides, and, as a result, takes and holds an excellent edge. The material is also not just tough, but offers good corrosion and wear resistance as well.
Blade Finish
The stonewashed finish applied to the blade is very durable and has the ability to conceal signs of wear due to its very nature.
Handle Material
6061-T6 aluminum, which is what the handle scales of this button open knife are made of, is a general-purpose alloy, and the ideal choice for different applications due to its high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Apart from making the handle look better, the durable carbon fiber insert helps to ensure a high blade-to-weight ratio which makes the Kershaw Launch 8 more enjoyable to carry.
Handle Finish, etc.
Because the handle wears an anodized finish, it will not fade, but rather will maintain its authentic metallic sheen, luster and feel. Anodizing equally protects against corrosion and abrasion.
The pre-drilled holes in the handle will enable you to change either the tip position or the side on which the push button knife can be carried.
Applications & Warranty
This tool, which can be used for hunting, fishing, camping, or just everyday carry (EDC), is covered by the Kershaw Limited Lifetime Warranty.

“Absolutely LOVE this knife. I have been a HUGE fan of Kershaw knives. This is my 1st one like this knife but I have several other Kershaw knives, all made in the USA. Great knife for the price.”

“I bought this stiletto about 3 years ago and have used it daily since. From slicing fruit at lunch to using the spine as a screwdriver this knife will hold up. It’s thin blade and pointy point are a little bit of a work around but if used in sensible ways this things a tank. I’ve absolutely tortured this knife (within reason of course) and never had a problem. It stays sharp even after drilling holes with it while camping, holds up to endlessly cutting PEX lines, and still has no play in the action or any damage aside from paint wearing on the pocket clip.”

“Amazing quality and precision from a knife that cost 100 dollars. Took a little time but sharpened up on my diamond stone to a shaving sharp edge. Just the way the knife feels in your hand is a delight. Although it is extremely light it feels very solid and is also very well balanced. The only concern i have is the tip of the blade. Seems that it could break very easily but on the other hand i dont intend on doing anything heavy duty with this part of the blade. Overall a very nice piece of quality and craftsmanship.”
